Mario Gomez could be set to leave treble-winners Bayern Munich according to his agent Uli Ferber.
The striker found himself behind Mario Mandzukic in the pecking order at the Allianz Arena after sitting out the first three months of last season with an ankle injury, and his future is now in doubt.
Ferber insists that a decision will be made in the next three or four days as to where the 27-year-old will play his football in 2013-14.
Gomez has been linked with a number of clubs, with Chelsea and Manchester City among those said to be interested.
Napoli and Fiorentina have also been reported to be in line for the Germany international but are not believed to be serious candidates.
If I had been talking with all of the clubs mentioned, then I would have been spending my days travelling, Ferber told Sport1.
We have never entered into any negotiations with Napoli.
We will make our position clear at the end of the week.
Gomez signed for Bayern from Stuttgart in 2009 for 35 million euros and the UEFA Champions League holders can expect to recoup more than half of that amount if he were to leave the club with three years left on his contract.
The striker scored 19 goals in all competitions for Bayern last season, despite only starting 13 games.
